Church of Scientology Loses $39 Million Fraud Lawsuit

A jury today awarded $39 million to a woman who says the Church of Scientology defrauded her with claims it would improve her eyesight and make her more intelligent.

The Multnomah Circuit Court jury, after a 10-week trial and two and a half days of deliberations, found that the church defrauded the woman, Julie Christofferson Titchbourne, who had been a church member for nine months.

''This is a ridiculous decision,'' said Earle C. Cooley, a, attorney representing the Scientology church. ''The Constitution is in serious trouble in the state of Oregon and we will appeal.''

Mrs. Titchbourne's lawyer, Garry P. McMurry, said the award was ''adequate for the punishment that was intended.''

Mr. McMurry said his client had been told by church leaders that Scientology could improve her weak eyesight, raise her I.Q. and teach her more about the mind than any psychologist or psychiatrist.

Xenu the Galactic overlord from OT3 is said to be very angry in a statement made earlier today, "This is a sad day for the Galactic federation and Scientology. Vengeance will be mine!"

Watch the Bridge movie to learn the real truths behind Scientology.

What is Scientology?

In the late 1940s, Scientology creator and Science fiction writer L. Ron Hubbard declared:
"Writing for a penny a word is ridiculous. If a man really wants to make a million dollars, the best way would be to start his own religion"

Hubbard later created the Church of Scientology...

In a Nutshell

The Church of Scientology is a vicious and dangerous cult that masquerades as a religion. Its purpose is to make money. It practices a variety of mind-control techniques on people lured into its midst to gain control over their money and their lives. Its aim is to take from them every penny that they have and can ever borrow and to also enslave them to further its wicked ends.

It was started in the 1950s by a science fiction writer named L. Ron Hubbard in fulfillment to his declared aim to start a religion to make money. It is an offshoot to a method of psychotherapy he concocted from various sources which he named "Dianetics". Dianetics is a form of regression therapy. It was then further expanded to appear more like a religion in order to enjoy tax benefits. He called it "Scientology".

Scientology is a confused concoction of crackpot, dangerously applied psychotherapy, oversimplified, idiotic and inapplicable rules and ideas and science-fiction drivel that is presented to its members (at the "advanced" levels) as profound spiritual truth.

The Harm it Does to a Person

The results of applying their crackpot psychotherapy (called "auditing") is to weaken the mind. The mind goes from a rational state to an irrational one as the delusional contents of the subconscious mind are brought to the surface and are assumed to be valid. It also makes a person more susceptible to suggestion since it submerges the critical thinking faculties of the mind into a partial subconscious state. It results in a permanent light hypnotic trance and so from thenceforth that person can be more easily controlled. The person will, to a much greater extent, believe and do whatever they are told. And of course this is used to the full in persuading them to hand over further money and dedicating themselves further to the cult.

The results of applying their oversimplified and inapplicable rules in life is to lose the ability to think rationally and logically. A person loses the ability to think for themselves and so they lose the ability to challenge incorrect ideas. This makes them easier to control. It also isolates and alienates the person from society so that they withdraw from normal society and into their "Scientology" society. This further increases their susceptibility to the influence of their group. They end up being afraid of society, believing all society to be controlled by a group of drug companies, psychiatrists and financiers all of whom report to more remote masters. In other words they are in a state of mass paranoia. They therefore avoid reading newspapers and the like since they fear it will disturb their safe Scientology world. It is a downward spiral into madness.

The science fiction content of Scientology is revealed to them after they have reached the state they call "Clear", meaning freed from the aberrations of the mind. However, perhaps "brainwashed" would be a more applicable word to describe the mental state of someone who has survived the near entire delusional contents of their subconscious mind brought to the surface and presented to them as "truth". On the "advanced" levels (called OT levels) above the state of "Clear" they encounter the story of Xenu. Xenu was supposed to have gathered up all the overpopulation in this sector of the galaxy, brought them to Earth and then exterminated them using hydrogen bombs. The souls of these murdered people are then supposed to infest the body of everyone. They are called "body thetans". On the advanced levels of Scientology a person "audits out" these body thetans telepathically by getting them to re-experience their being exterminated by hydrogen bombs. So people on these levels assume all their bad thoughts and faulty memories are due to these body thetans infesting every part of their body and influencing them mentally. Many Scientologists go raving mad at this point if they have not done so already.

Learn about Scientology and teach others

For all of those interested in learning about the evils of Scientology, make sure you know all the facts before you spread the word to others. Take a minute to view the South Park Scientology episode and watch the Bridge movie. Check out who Xenu is and especially how to free Xenu. Before you tell others what is Scientology, make sure you learn about Jeremy Perkins and even Suri Cruise. Read about Scientology's attack on Myspace, Scientology's attack on it's critics, Scientology's attack on YTMND, and the real Religious Freedom Watch website. Finally, make sure you learn about L Ron Hubbard and Scientology's new leader, David Miscavige. Then for fun, watch some of the videos located at Paul Vids and place your free ad at five dollar listing.

Scientology promotes freedom of speech but NEVER practices it

There is not one pro Scientology blog or forum that has it's comment section unmoderated. Not one pro Scientology blog or forum will let you talk about anything remotely critical to the "religion". Scientology call this Entheta. They will not let you discuss anything critical to L Ron Hubbard or speak of Xenu who is the focus of topic in OT3 (The Wall of Fire) and the main belief of Scientology's upper levels and the sole reason for auditing.

There is a Scientologist named Jenny that posts comments on all my blog postings. Notice how she is able to voice her opinion and promote Dianetic books. Then notice how ALL of Jenny's blogs have the comments ALL moderated. She will not let you post anything that does not speak %100 positively about Scientology. She blocks ALL comments that question anything about Scientology or it's belief system. This is common with ALL Scientologists. They refuse to see the other side. They also know if they see anything that speaks of the other side to Scientology they risk getting a sec check or being sent to the RPF.

Scientologists such as Jenny promote freedom of speech but NEVER practice it. Jenny asks me why I won't talk to her in her blog postings to me. How can I? She doesn't let you post comments. She leaves no contact info such as email or phone number.

Well Jenny, you can post away on my blog and to you and anyone else, here is my contact info just as I have always posted it:

L Ron Hubbard quotes - Why Scientology sucks

1. He followed his own advice in this case:

“Writing for a penny a word is ridiculous. If a man really wants to make a million dollars, the best way would be to start his own religion”

2. “Anti-Chinese Racism, from a 1928 diary entry:

[The Chinese] have neither the foresight or endurance to overrun any white country in any way except by intermarriage. One American marine could stand off a great many yellowmen without much effort.

A Chinaman can not live up to a thing, he always drags it down.

They smell of all the baths they didn’t take.
The trouble with China is, there are too many chinks here. “

3. On training black South Africans in the ways of Scientology:

“The South African native is probably the one impossible person to train in the entire world; he is probably impossible by any human standard.”

4. On Japanese people and their language:

“One of the reasons they [the Japanese] have bad eyesight is probably these microscopic characters [furigana] which have many lines and strokes to them.& We wonder why they went mad and bombed Pearl Harbor when they knew they couldn’t win. That [the Japanese language] would be a reason.”

5. On Arabs, from a 1958 lecture:

“He’s [the Arab] been going crazy steadily and gradually ever since he lost the early very fertile basins of the Middle East. He’s been going crazy ever since he failed to learn wheat farming and brought about the erosion of all of the fertile areas of the Middle East.

This race has been going for a very, very long time and has been eating death for a very long time and it is death.”

6. Apartheid Apologist:

“The problem of South Africa is different than the world thinks. There is no native problem. The native worker gets more than white workers do in England!

The South African government is not a police state. It’s easier on people than the United States government!”

7. On dealing with criticism:

“Never discuss Scientology with the critic. Just discuss his or her crimes, known and unknown.”

8. Threatening anyone who opposes Scientology:

“We are slowly and carefully teaching the unholy a lesson. It is as follows: We are not a law enforcement agency. BUT we will become interested in the crimes of people who seek to stop us. If you oppose scientology we promptly look up - and find and expose - your crimes. If you leave us alone we will leave you alone.

It’s very simple. Even a fool can grasp that.

And don’t underrate our ability to carry it out.”

9. Anti-Democratic:

“And I don’t see that popular measures, self-abnegation and democracy have done anything for Man but push him further into the mud. Currently, popularity endorses degraded novels, self-abnegation has filled the Southeast Asian jungles with stone idols and corpses, and democracy has given us inflation and income tax.”

10. Another look at his advice for life. Compare with number 1.

“Make money. Make more money. Make other people make money.”

What Scientologists believe

What Scientologists believe

75 million years ago there was an evil Galactic Overlord named Xenu who ruled over 76 planets including earth (then called Teegeeack).

Due to overpopulation, Xenu decided to gather up the 13.5 trillion people on these planets and send them into volcanoes on earth off the Canary and Hawaiian Islands. He then dropped H-bombs and killed the people.

Xenu trapped the souls of these people in boxes and implanted them with a false reality. The confused souls with these false realities attached themselves in clusters to the last remaining people on Earth. Today we all hold about 2,000 alien souls that can only be released by a Scientologist with auditing sessions. These auditing sessions costs a lot of money to learn a bunch of self-help mind over matter tricks. In Scientology you are brainwashed into believing an un-true history, and you are promised an unattainable reward. Scientologists believe that once you have reached the upper levels of "OT" you can fly around and move things with your mind and do all sorts of fun stuff. OT8 teaches you that you can kill with a thought. This cult was created by L. Ron Hubbard, a warp minded 1950's science fiction writer.

Details:
In Scientology doctrine OT3, Xenu, pronounced ['zi.nu:], was the dictator of the "Galactic Confederacy" who, 75 million years ago, brought billions of his people to Earth in DC-8-like spacecraft, stacked them around volcanoes and killed them using hydrogen bombs. Scientology holds that their essences remained, and that they form around people in modern times, causing them spiritual harm.

These events are known to Scientologists as "Incident II", and the traumatic memories associated with them as The Wall of Fire. The story of Xenu is part of Scientology beliefs in extraterrestrial civilizations and alien interventions in Earthly events, collectively described as space opera by L. Ron Hubbard, science fiction writer and founder of Scientology.
Hubbard detailed the story in Operating Thetan level III (OT III) in 1967, warning that this material was "calculated to kill (by pneumonia etc) anyone who attempts to solve it."The Xenu story was the start of the use of the volcano as a common symbol of Scientology and Dianetics from 1968 to the present day.”

Church has tried to keep Xenu confidential and critics say that revealing the story is in the public interest, given the high prices charged for OT III, part of Scientology's secret "Advanced Technology" doctrines taught only to members who have already contributed large amounts of money to the organization.
The Church avoids making mention of Xenu in public statements and has gone to considerable effort to maintain the story's confidentiality, including legal action on the grounds of both copyright and trade secrecy. Despite this, much material on Xenu has leaked to the public, largely via the internet.

The death of L Ron Hubbard - Founder of the Church of Scientology

The death of L Ron Hubbard

The Church of Scientology is loudly voicing their strong resistance to what they call "psych drugs". It is therefore ironic that the founder of Dianetics and Scientology, L Ron Hubbard, was taking a "psych drug" when he died. This is not unusual in itself, since bitter old men often go psychotic when dying. Witnesses testified that Hubbard died acting like a raving lunatic.
This is from the 1983 edition of the Physician's Desk Reference, pg 1571. It was a couple years out of date when Hubbard died. Vistaril is the psych drug found in Hubbard's body.

Quote:

1. The acutely disturbed or hysterical patient.
2. The acute or chronic alcoholic with anxiety withdrawal symptoms or delirium tremens.
3. As pre- and postoperative and pre- and postpartum adjunctive medication to permit reduction in narcotic dosage, allay anxiety and control emesis.

According to what Hubbard's doctor told the coroner, and what the labs from the autopsy found, Hubbard had been injected with Vistaril® and only Vistaril® in a non-hospital setting. That's what you do with a psychiatrically disturbed or drug withdrawal patient.

Deaths by Scientology

Deaths by Scientology:

"In my opinion the church (of Scientology) has one of the most effective intelligence operations in the U.S., rivaling even that of the FBI."
Ted Gunderson former head of the FBI's Los Angeles office, quoted in TIME Magazine.

Deaths in Scientology's Fort Harrison Hotel

On December 5, 1995, Lisa McPherson died. Scientology had held her against her will for 17 days. During that time, she tried to leave, became violent, and refused to eat. At the time of her death, she had bruises and abrasions on her body, and she had lost over 30 pounds in just 17 days.

www.lisamcpherson.org

Heribert Pfaff
According to the records, Heribert P. died august 28, 1988, during the night from a heavy epileptic attack. He hit his head on the night table. The scientology doctor reports that he prescribed vitamins for his patient -dispite regular attacks- in stead of treating him with proper medication. Such medication was indeed not detected in his blood during the post-mortem examination.

Josephus Havenith
An autopsy report lists his death as "probable drowning" but notes that his head was not under water. He died in February 1980 at the Scientology Fort Harrison Hotel in a bathtub filled with water so hot it had burned his skin off.

Elli and Jeremy Perkins

Jeremy Perkins stabbed his mother to death 77 times. Jeremy is diagnosed as a paranoid schizophrenic. Because of the laws of Scientology, Jeremy was not allowed to take his necessary medication.

How to become a cult leader like L Ron Hubbard: The founder of Scientology

This is a must see for all. It never mentions Scientology or L Ron Hubbard directly but describes them perfectly. Now you too can become a multi-millionaire by starting your very own scam of a "religion" with thousands of followers willing to die for you at any moment.

Video: How to Become a Cult Leader

The Church of Scientology:

Ruined lives. Lost fortunes. Federal crimes, and even death -- Welcome to the "Church" of Scientology.

Scientology poses as a religion but really is a ruthless global scam -- and aiming for the mainstream.

What part of your life do you want to handle? Everyone can improve in some aspect of their lives, but Scientology is definitely not the answer.

There are no benefits to Scientology. There is only loss. Loss of your mind, your friends, your family, your money, your possessions, along with the fact that you might end up dead.

How many more people have to die before someone decides it is time to put an end to this evil cult?

More Scientology Deaths - Will it ever end?

- Scientologist parents 'denied help' to murder accused -
==========================

A Sydney court has heard that a woman charged with stabbing her father and sister to death and seriously wounding her mother was denied psychiatric help because of her parents' belief in Scientology.

The 25-year-old faced Bankstown Local Court today, charged over the attacks at the family's Revesby home in Sydney's south-west last Thursday.

She is facing two counts of murder and one of inflicting grievous bodily harm with intent to murder.

The woman did not apply for bail and the case was adjourned until later this week.

- Jeremy and Elli Perkins -
=========================
Why would a 28-year-old man, described as sweet, kind and gentle, take a knife to his mother one morning in 2003 and stab her 77 times?

Jeremy Perkins, who had been diagnosed as a paranoid schizophrenic, came to believe that his mother, Elli, was evil and out to get him. Experts say the brutal murder might never have occurred, had he received proper treatment to control his psychotic delusions. But Jeremy’s parents were devout Scientologists and their religion strongly opposes psychiatric treatment.

Did Elli Perkins' faith contribute to her death?

- Lisa Mcpherson -
============================
Lisa was put on the Introspection Rundown that Scientology uses to handle those who have had a psychotic break.

On November 18, 1995, Lisa was involved in a minor car accident. She was apparently not hurt, but she got out of her car and took all her clothes off and seemed mentally unstable. She was taken to a hospital where she was physically evaluated as being unharmed, but the hospital wanted her to be psychologically cared for. However, some Scientologists arrived and stated that Lisa did not believe in psychiatry, and she checked out after a short evaluation and left with the Scientologists. She went with them to Room 174 of the Ft. Harrison Hotel for "rest and relaxation" according to the church, but church logs from Lisa's stay there from November 18 to her death December 5 show differently. Some logs are missing, and a high ranking ex-Scientologist has written an affidavit in which he claims that the church has in the past destroyed documents that might get the church in trouble.

Lisa is now dead all thanks to Scientology.

What is Scientology? The Bridge Movie Free Xenu Scientology

Wednesday, July 04, 2007

SCIENTOLOGY UPDATE:

I actually just created a Scientology Videos website. It's not done yet but will be soon. It's online and can be viewed right now.

I find Scientology extremely interesting and want to know what is Scientology and everything else I can learn about this fascinating false religion.

When learning about this global scam of a "Church", I recommend watching the Bridge Movie. It is the first full length movie about Scientology to ever be released. All the other movies that were in production, like the profit, are all being held up in the court systems by Scientology's lawyers. Another must see video is the Emmy nominated South Park Scientology episode that explains what Scientologist believe. It's too bad that Scientologists have to spend thousands of dollars before they get to level OT3 and learn about Xenu the Alien Galactic Overlord. Most lower level Scientologists will deny Xenu.

This is because they are at a lower level than OT3. In fact in OT8, which is currently the highest level in Scientology, L Ron Hubbard claims there was no Christ.
