Scientologist doctors

Since doctors prescribe psychiatric drugs - Are Scientologists allowed to be doctors?

Also, would a critic of Scientology feel more comfortable with a Scientologist doctor or a Scientologist with a critic doctor? AND - of course the people involved knew the others stance on each others beliefs and criticisms.

I know, as a critic, I would not feel comfortable with a Scientologist doctor seeing me 1 on 1 with them knowing my viewpoint on their 'religion'.

I think that if I was a doctor, I would not treat anyone different. It wouldn't matter if it was a Scientologist or a "baby raper" as Scientologist Jenna Elfman likes to say.

I've always had a viewpoint of "You can believe in whatever you want, but I have a right to educate people about the other sides to it."

Scientologists view me as someone stopping freedom of speech. That's funny actually because they are the ones who restrict freedom of speech. Noted in my recent Blog posting: http://www.stopscientology.blogspot.com

No freedom of speech in Scientology.

Just some thoughts from today.

Scientology promotes freedom of speech but NEVER practices it

There is not one pro Scientology blog or forum that has it's comment section unmoderated. Not one pro Scientology blog or forum will let you talk about anything remotely critical to the "religion". Scientology call this Entheta. They will not let you discuss anything critical to L Ron Hubbard or speak of Xenu who is the focus of topic in OT3 (The Wall of Fire) and the main belief of Scientology's upper levels and the sole reason for auditing.

There is a Scientologist named Jenny that posts comments on all my blog postings. Notice how she is able to voice her opinion and promote Dianetic books. Then notice how ALL of Jenny's blogs have the comments ALL moderated. She will not let you post anything that does not speak %100 positively about Scientology. She blocks ALL comments that question anything about Scientology or it's belief system. This is common with ALL Scientologists. They refuse to see the other side. They also know if they see anything that speaks of the other side to Scientology they risk getting a sec check or being sent to the RPF.

Scientologists such as Jenny promote freedom of speech but NEVER practice it. Jenny asks me why I won't talk to her in her blog postings to me. How can I? She doesn't let you post comments. She leaves no contact info such as email or phone number.

Well Jenny, you can post away on my blog and to you and anyone else, here is my contact info just as I have always posted it:

L Ron Hubbard quotes - Why Scientology sucks

1. He followed his own advice in this case:

“Writing for a penny a word is ridiculous. If a man really wants to make a million dollars, the best way would be to start his own religion”

2. “Anti-Chinese Racism, from a 1928 diary entry:

[The Chinese] have neither the foresight or endurance to overrun any white country in any way except by intermarriage. One American marine could stand off a great many yellowmen without much effort.

A Chinaman can not live up to a thing, he always drags it down.

They smell of all the baths they didn’t take.
The trouble with China is, there are too many chinks here. “

3. On training black South Africans in the ways of Scientology:

“The South African native is probably the one impossible person to train in the entire world; he is probably impossible by any human standard.”

4. On Japanese people and their language:

“One of the reasons they [the Japanese] have bad eyesight is probably these microscopic characters [furigana] which have many lines and strokes to them.& We wonder why they went mad and bombed Pearl Harbor when they knew they couldn’t win. That [the Japanese language] would be a reason.”

5. On Arabs, from a 1958 lecture:

“He’s [the Arab] been going crazy steadily and gradually ever since he lost the early very fertile basins of the Middle East. He’s been going crazy ever since he failed to learn wheat farming and brought about the erosion of all of the fertile areas of the Middle East.

This race has been going for a very, very long time and has been eating death for a very long time and it is death.”

6. Apartheid Apologist:

“The problem of South Africa is different than the world thinks. There is no native problem. The native worker gets more than white workers do in England!

The South African government is not a police state. It’s easier on people than the United States government!”

7. On dealing with criticism:

“Never discuss Scientology with the critic. Just discuss his or her crimes, known and unknown.”

8. Threatening anyone who opposes Scientology:

“We are slowly and carefully teaching the unholy a lesson. It is as follows: We are not a law enforcement agency. BUT we will become interested in the crimes of people who seek to stop us. If you oppose scientology we promptly look up - and find and expose - your crimes. If you leave us alone we will leave you alone.

It’s very simple. Even a fool can grasp that.

And don’t underrate our ability to carry it out.”

9. Anti-Democratic:

“And I don’t see that popular measures, self-abnegation and democracy have done anything for Man but push him further into the mud. Currently, popularity endorses degraded novels, self-abnegation has filled the Southeast Asian jungles with stone idols and corpses, and democracy has given us inflation and income tax.”

10. Another look at his advice for life. Compare with number 1.

“Make money. Make more money. Make other people make money.”

What Scientologists believe

What Scientologists believe

75 million years ago there was an evil Galactic Overlord named Xenu who ruled over 76 planets including earth (then called Teegeeack).

Due to overpopulation, Xenu decided to gather up the 13.5 trillion people on these planets and send them into volcanoes on earth off the Canary and Hawaiian Islands. He then dropped H-bombs and killed the people.

Xenu trapped the souls of these people in boxes and implanted them with a false reality. The confused souls with these false realities attached themselves in clusters to the last remaining people on Earth. Today we all hold about 2,000 alien souls that can only be released by a Scientologist with auditing sessions. These auditing sessions costs a lot of money to learn a bunch of self-help mind over matter tricks. In Scientology you are brainwashed into believing an un-true history, and you are promised an unattainable reward. Scientologists believe that once you have reached the upper levels of "OT" you can fly around and move things with your mind and do all sorts of fun stuff. OT8 teaches you that you can kill with a thought. This cult was created by L. Ron Hubbard, a warp minded 1950's science fiction writer.

Details:
In Scientology doctrine OT3, Xenu, pronounced ['zi.nu:], was the dictator of the "Galactic Confederacy" who, 75 million years ago, brought billions of his people to Earth in DC-8-like spacecraft, stacked them around volcanoes and killed them using hydrogen bombs. Scientology holds that their essences remained, and that they form around people in modern times, causing them spiritual harm.

These events are known to Scientologists as "Incident II", and the traumatic memories associated with them as The Wall of Fire. The story of Xenu is part of Scientology beliefs in extraterrestrial civilizations and alien interventions in Earthly events, collectively described as space opera by L. Ron Hubbard, science fiction writer and founder of Scientology.
Hubbard detailed the story in Operating Thetan level III (OT III) in 1967, warning that this material was "calculated to kill (by pneumonia etc) anyone who attempts to solve it."The Xenu story was the start of the use of the volcano as a common symbol of Scientology and Dianetics from 1968 to the present day.”

Church has tried to keep Xenu confidential and critics say that revealing the story is in the public interest, given the high prices charged for OT III, part of Scientology's secret "Advanced Technology" doctrines taught only to members who have already contributed large amounts of money to the organization.
The Church avoids making mention of Xenu in public statements and has gone to considerable effort to maintain the story's confidentiality, including legal action on the grounds of both copyright and trade secrecy. Despite this, much material on Xenu has leaked to the public, largely via the internet.

The death of L Ron Hubbard - Founder of the Church of Scientology

The death of L Ron Hubbard

The Church of Scientology is loudly voicing their strong resistance to what they call "psych drugs". It is therefore ironic that the founder of Dianetics and Scientology, L Ron Hubbard, was taking a "psych drug" when he died. This is not unusual in itself, since bitter old men often go psychotic when dying. Witnesses testified that Hubbard died acting like a raving lunatic.
This is from the 1983 edition of the Physician's Desk Reference, pg 1571. It was a couple years out of date when Hubbard died. Vistaril is the psych drug found in Hubbard's body.

Quote:

1. The acutely disturbed or hysterical patient.
2. The acute or chronic alcoholic with anxiety withdrawal symptoms or delirium tremens.
3. As pre- and postoperative and pre- and postpartum adjunctive medication to permit reduction in narcotic dosage, allay anxiety and control emesis.

According to what Hubbard's doctor told the coroner, and what the labs from the autopsy found, Hubbard had been injected with Vistaril® and only Vistaril® in a non-hospital setting. That's what you do with a psychiatrically disturbed or drug withdrawal patient.

Deaths by Scientology

Deaths by Scientology:

"In my opinion the church (of Scientology) has one of the most effective intelligence operations in the U.S., rivaling even that of the FBI."
Ted Gunderson former head of the FBI's Los Angeles office, quoted in TIME Magazine.

Deaths in Scientology's Fort Harrison Hotel

On December 5, 1995, Lisa McPherson died. Scientology had held her against her will for 17 days. During that time, she tried to leave, became violent, and refused to eat. At the time of her death, she had bruises and abrasions on her body, and she had lost over 30 pounds in just 17 days.

www.lisamcpherson.org

Heribert Pfaff
According to the records, Heribert P. died august 28, 1988, during the night from a heavy epileptic attack. He hit his head on the night table. The scientology doctor reports that he prescribed vitamins for his patient -dispite regular attacks- in stead of treating him with proper medication. Such medication was indeed not detected in his blood during the post-mortem examination.

Josephus Havenith
An autopsy report lists his death as "probable drowning" but notes that his head was not under water. He died in February 1980 at the Scientology Fort Harrison Hotel in a bathtub filled with water so hot it had burned his skin off.

Elli and Jeremy Perkins

Jeremy Perkins stabbed his mother to death 77 times. Jeremy is diagnosed as a paranoid schizophrenic. Because of the laws of Scientology, Jeremy was not allowed to take his necessary medication.

How to become a cult leader like L Ron Hubbard: The founder of Scientology

This is a must see for all. It never mentions Scientology or L Ron Hubbard directly but describes them perfectly. Now you too can become a multi-millionaire by starting your very own scam of a "religion" with thousands of followers willing to die for you at any moment.

Video: How to Become a Cult Leader

The Church of Scientology:

Ruined lives. Lost fortunes. Federal crimes, and even death -- Welcome to the "Church" of Scientology.

Scientology poses as a religion but really is a ruthless global scam -- and aiming for the mainstream.

What part of your life do you want to handle? Everyone can improve in some aspect of their lives, but Scientology is definitely not the answer.

There are no benefits to Scientology. There is only loss. Loss of your mind, your friends, your family, your money, your possessions, along with the fact that you might end up dead.

How many more people have to die before someone decides it is time to put an end to this evil cult?

More Scientology Deaths - Will it ever end?

- Scientologist parents 'denied help' to murder accused -
==========================

A Sydney court has heard that a woman charged with stabbing her father and sister to death and seriously wounding her mother was denied psychiatric help because of her parents' belief in Scientology.

The 25-year-old faced Bankstown Local Court today, charged over the attacks at the family's Revesby home in Sydney's south-west last Thursday.

She is facing two counts of murder and one of inflicting grievous bodily harm with intent to murder.

The woman did not apply for bail and the case was adjourned until later this week.

- Jeremy and Elli Perkins -
=========================
Why would a 28-year-old man, described as sweet, kind and gentle, take a knife to his mother one morning in 2003 and stab her 77 times?

Jeremy Perkins, who had been diagnosed as a paranoid schizophrenic, came to believe that his mother, Elli, was evil and out to get him. Experts say the brutal murder might never have occurred, had he received proper treatment to control his psychotic delusions. But Jeremy’s parents were devout Scientologists and their religion strongly opposes psychiatric treatment.

Did Elli Perkins' faith contribute to her death?

- Lisa Mcpherson -
============================
Lisa was put on the Introspection Rundown that Scientology uses to handle those who have had a psychotic break.

On November 18, 1995, Lisa was involved in a minor car accident. She was apparently not hurt, but she got out of her car and took all her clothes off and seemed mentally unstable. She was taken to a hospital where she was physically evaluated as being unharmed, but the hospital wanted her to be psychologically cared for. However, some Scientologists arrived and stated that Lisa did not believe in psychiatry, and she checked out after a short evaluation and left with the Scientologists. She went with them to Room 174 of the Ft. Harrison Hotel for "rest and relaxation" according to the church, but church logs from Lisa's stay there from November 18 to her death December 5 show differently. Some logs are missing, and a high ranking ex-Scientologist has written an affidavit in which he claims that the church has in the past destroyed documents that might get the church in trouble.

Lisa is now dead all thanks to Scientology.

Could Scientology Survive a Free Market?

Author:
J Funk Era (L-KS)

One thing I hear a lot from my anti-Scientologist friends usually relates how Scientology skirts the rules and laws by agencies such as the IRS and the DEA and try to pressure government to not only fix the problem, but to create more rules to try to legislate Scientology out of existence. My question to them is are these even good laws to begin with and is it possible for Scientology to exist in a totally free market devoid from all regulation and taxation? They usually look at me bewildered and respond "WHAT!? That is what Scientology wants! You're giving them a free pass. We need the FDA, amongst other reasons, to help take down Scientology."

Of course I couldn't disagree more.

Fraud, Theft and the IRS; Nothing New.

We all know how Scientology's Operation: Snow White was a plan to get spies and plants into the IRS and the FBI and steal all files that reflect negatively about Scientology and wire tap them in order to polish L. Ron's apple, and to find some kind of collateral that they could use against the IRS to get it's tax exemption status. While they did this the IRS pressed on against their tax exemption eligibility until Scientology's scam was blown and FBI agents raided the Scientology Headquarters in Los Angeles, CA. Mysteriously the IRS blessed them with tax exemption. Why? Might It be that they had leverage over them because they had proof that the IRS was a corrupt organization itself? Or that there wasn't a law that requires the average worker to pay a federal income tax? What if I went back on topic? Taxation is slavery. Because we are all slaves to the state doesn't mean we should force Scientology to be to. Instead of working to get the IRS after them, we should work on getting rid of the IRS all together so we can all keep the money we earned.

The Ministry of Health; Sickness is Health.

The FDA is considering making all vitamins and supplements a prescription only and subject to the FDA approval process. This would sever a lot of income from Scientology which produces it's own vitamins though it's sister groups and member's private companies. Scientology does assert that you can cure any disease, condition or addiction though Scientology tech and vitamins. Of course the Church and it's adherents will deny this for legal reasons, but I find it hard to find an ex member of the church who admits this as being the case. Also the FDA mandated that all e-meters contain the following warning:

"The E-Meter is not medically or scientifically useful for the diagnosis, treatment or prevention of any disease. It is not medically or scientifically capable of improving the health or bodily functions of anyone."

So the Federal Government mandated that it be expressed as above. Scientology refused and put it's own version of the warning on it's e-meter:

"By itself, this meter does nothing. It is solely for the guide of Ministers of the Church in Confessionals and pastoral counseling. The Electrometer is not medically or scientifically capable of improving the health or bodily function of anyone and is for religious use by students and Ministers of the Church of Scientology only."

To date, the FDA has never done anything about it. Why? Because the government doesn't care. Why should it? Why bother with a small cult ripping people off? Why should it when some people in government are Scientologists themselves and start a political shell game? What can we do to get them to reverse their decisions to kick Scientology to the curb? Not a damn thing. They have no interest in pressuring them. Not even 10 million Tory Christmans could make that happen.

So what can we do? Abolish these organizations altogether. Now before you start sending those hate mails over I'll explain why this would be the best way, starting with the IRS.

If the IRS taxes Scientology, Scientology would just pass those costs onto it adherents who will gladly shell out for it and Scientology will be just as much of slave as we are. Also this will help the adherents from economic ruin because they would be able to keep all of the money they earned and not have to pay the hidden 22% tax when they shop at stores. People keeping all of their money would make them more wise about who or what they donate to and keep the economy booming. Besides, what did government ever do to earn your money anyways?

Anti-Scientologists want the FDA around for more than just taking down Scientology. They prevent bad drugs from getting on the market like the prenatal drug Thalidomide which deformed many children. What they fail to realize is all the quackery being sold today. Penis pills causing heart attach, herbal remedies causing chemical reactions that release poison gases, homeopathic "remedies" that are just diluted with water or other fillers to the point that usually contain not even one single molecule of the supposed "active ingredient” left. Even if this new ban comes along, these snake oil peddlers will still come out with more innovative ways around the laws as will Scientology and the FDA will do nothing. Don't forget about drugs like Phen-Fen and Vioxx approved by the FDA that caused death or serious health problems to it's users and that aspirin would not even make it though the FDA approval possess today.

So we can't expect them to do what they do right anyways, but even if they did a good job it still hurts. When you hear the spokesmen for the FDA announce that we might have found a cure for AIDS and it will save 400,000 people a year when it gets approved in 5 years. How many reporters ask the spokes man "So you are going to kill 2 million people by refusing them access to the drug?" What would the spokes man say? It takes up to 1 billion dollars and 12 years of research to approve a drug in this country with the FDA and we wonder why there are only a handful of pharmaceutical companies making drugs. It's not protecting people from bad drugs, it's protecting drug cartels from competition. A man who finds a cure for cancer in his kitchen could not sell his concoction even if there's no side effects because he doesn't have the means to get it passed though the FDA.

I think the most dangerous part of having an FDA is that anything that slips by it's regulation automatically gets a cloak of legitimacy from the state. People know, fallaciously I might add, that if the FDA allows a supplement to exist with out pulling it like it has ephedra, then it can't be bad for you or that it works. Even though the FDA mandates that these supplements supply this warning, it still doesn't inform them how the FDA operates when it comes to supplements.

"These statements have not been evaluated by the FDA. This product is not intended to diagnose, cure, prevent or treat any diseases."

People assume that the FDA will protect them from dubious health claims because that's what it was designed to do. So when it allows Scientology the ability to sell e-meter services and vitamins it is saying to people "We can't say it can cure anything, but it's good enough otherwise we'd ban it like we did ."

Governmentless; Now what?

Well so if we are damned if we do, but are we damned if we don't? I don't believe so.

To understand how this might work we need not look any further than the world of electronics. Without government regulation comes market regulations. People understand that electronic devices with out the Underwriters Laboratories approval stamp could mean exploding microwaves and iPods that incinerate themselves in your pocket. The average person, however, does not realize that this is a private company that charges fees to electronics manufacturers for there approval and not a government body. You can make an electronic device and sell it in America without their approval, but stores will not resell it and people will not buy it in bigger markets without it. No one will want to buy your police scanner if it melts before it picks up the signal about their house being on fire. The UL does have some government backing by them using it in their own endeavors which stifles it's competition but it still does an excellent job.

If the FDA were dissolved tomorrow, non-profits like the UL would spring up for food and drugs and competing testing groups would battle it out in the market place to provide the best testing at the lowest price to all food, supplement and drug manufacturers. If a organization kept approving bad drugs it's approval stamp would be disregarded by the retailers and the consumers and the manufacturers would not pay for for it's approval. An organization which has a great reputation from not approving dangerous drugs would be heralded and preferred by all. This would also keep the drug manufacturers responsible for the drug they sell and they wouldn't have a government body to pin an excuse on when it develops the next Phen-Fen.

Now because homeopathic medicines, Scientology, and other quackery simply would not get any of their approval and would be condemned by such organizations we could see them all dissolve rather quickly. Because there is only 1 FDA they can point out how they are using faulty evidence, manipulating the data, or how it's just an evil government conspiracy against them. But could it say the same thing about 10 independent organizations whom all condemned them without looking ridiculous to the public?

Yea, but...

Well we can keep doing more of the same which allow Scientology and Christian Science to thrive even in the face of controversy of murder and death. We can put more strict regulations on them to skirt and still hold some legitimacy. However it is pointless. We can't even trust the government to handle housing for poor people or reasons why we went to war, yet somehow we can trust them with our finances, retirement, and our health?

We can do a lot to get Scientology cleared from the plant, but using government to do it will just mean less freedom, more taxes and more of the same. Give me liberty or give me death!

Definition of Scientology: According to Urban Dictionary

I saw this and thought it was funny. The first 35 definitions I read are nothing the "church" of Scientology would want you to see. I didn't get any farther than that.
http://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=scientology

It's funny Scientology's lawyers or at least "workers" haven't tried to do something about this.

I've seen them manipulate national viewer polls on Internet articles before and since this is user contributed, why can't they do anything about this one?

Fun fact about UrbanDictionary.com:

  1. UrbanDictionary.com's "Scientology" definition page shows up top 20 on Google for searches, "what is scientology?" and "Scientology".

  2. UrbanDictionary.com is ranked 1,361 (of all the billions and billions of websites out there) according to Alexa.com.

  3. UrbanDictionary.com targets people under 30 and especially teens. Scientology targets people under 30 and especially teens.

SCORE: UrbanDictionary.com 1 Scientology 0

SCIENTOLOGY UPDATE:

I actually just created a Scientology Videos website. It's not done yet but will be soon. It's online and can be viewed right now.

I find Scientology extremely interesting and want to know what is Scientology and everything else I can learn about this fascinating false religion.

When learning about this global scam of a "Church", I recommend watching the Bridge Movie. It is the first full length movie about Scientology to ever be released. All the other movies that were in production, like the profit, are all being held up in the court systems by Scientology's lawyers. Another must see video is the Emmy nominated South Park Scientology episode that explains what Scientologist believe. It's too bad that Scientologists have to spend thousands of dollars before they get to level OT3 and learn about Xenu the Alien Galactic Overlord. Most lower level Scientologists will deny Xenu.

This is because they are at a lower level than OT3. In fact in OT8, which is currently the highest level in Scientology, L Ron Hubbard claims there was no Christ.

ScientologyVideos.com

Hi, hope all is well. I just created a new critic site of the "Church" of Scientology called ScientologyVideos.com. It's a focus on the most current videos and news related to Scientology.

Take a second to check it out. It's still pretty much in beta mode but the search terms would be things like Scientology Videos and Scientology News.

Please comment with any suggestions or criticism. Thank you!

The Bridge movie, a critical look into Scientology, is still up no matter how bad the attacks from Scientology are to remove the complete existence of it.

The Bridge
is a 69-minute low-budget feature[2] film that shows what is Scientology, directed by filmmaker Brett Hanover.

A fictional story of involvement and disillusionment with Scientology, the film explicitly uses Scientology terms throughout, going so far as to include clips from actual Scientology promotional and training videos. The Bridge movie was released[3] as a free download over the internet on September 10, 2006 by the filmmaker.

Click here to watch the Bridge movie. Enjoy, and let me know what you think.

Greg Beha took his son to Narconon, a Scientology front group, for a drug problem. It was a 6 month program that cost Greg $23,500.

Ten days into the program, Narconon dropped Greg's son off at a nearby hotel with $10 in his hand and refused any kind of refund.

Once again, The Church of Scientology had The Bridge Movie pulled again from every video hosting site from Google video to Youtube . Today I have put it back up at http://www.dailymotion.com/Fred_Durks/video/xx39e_thebridge64kb

They've done this a couple times before and will do it again and I'll put it right back up again.
