Minister says Scientologists seek power in Germany

BERLIN (Reuters) - German Interior Minister Wolfgang Schaeuble launched a verbal assault against the Church of Scientology on Sunday, accusing it in a newspaper interview of trying to secure political power and influence in Germany.

A spokeswoman for Scientology in Germany dismissed Schaeuble's allegations as "insane".

Schaeuble and the country's 16 state interior ministers declared Scientology unconstitutional on Friday, opening the way for a possible ban on the organisation.

"Scientology is also working in Germany to secure political power and influence," Schaeuble said in an interview with Bild am Sonntag newspaper published on Sunday.

"Fundamental rights, including human rights, like the right to equal treatment and human dignity are limited or abrogated. The democratic system is rejected," he said.

Schaeuble was referring to the spiritual movement founded in 1953 by U.S. science fiction author L. Ron Hubbard.

Schaeuble and his state counterparts said Germany's domestic intelligence agencies should continue gathering information on the legality of Scientology's activities in Germany so that a decision could be made about a possible ban next year.

But German intelligence agencies have been closely monitoring Scientology's operations for a decade and see little hope of amassing sufficient evidence to justify a ban, Der Spiegel magazine reported in its latest issue.

Germany does not recognise Scientology as a religion and regard it as a cult masquerading as a church to make money.

Scientologists reject this view. They say that more than 50 court decisions in Germany had acknowledged the group as a religious community. Other countries had also recognised Scientology as a religion, the group says.

"PLANETARY RESCUE CAMPAIGN"

Bild am Sonntag also cited what it said was an internal Scientology document quoted in a German domestic intelligence report, adding the document appeared to show that the organisation has political designs in Germany.

"In order to execute our planetary rescue campaigns we must reach the highest levels of the German government in Berlin," the Bild am Sonntag quoted the document as saying.

The organisation's spokeswoman in Germany, Sabine Weber, confirmed that the quote came from Scientology. However, she said it was not from an official Scientology memorandum but an unauthorised email sent out by an unidentified person.

Weber also emailed a statement saying that "Scientology is completely apolitical and for strict separation of church and state." It said the term "rescue campaigns" referred to programmes intended to educate people about issues like drug abuse prevention and human rights.

Weber also dismissed Schaeuble's allegations that Scientology was undemocratic and curtailed human rights.

"Who dares to say we are against human rights? This is completely insane," she said.

Earlier this year, the German Defence Ministry said it would not allow the makers of a movie about an unsuccessful attempt to assassinate Hitler to film at German military sites because U.S. actor Tom Cruise, a Scientologist, was appearing in it.

The government later relented, saying its initial decision had nothing to do with Tom Cruise's personal beliefs.

Germany moves to ban Scientology

BERLIN, Germany (AP) -- Germany's top security officials said Friday they consider the goals of the Church of Scientology to be in conflict with the principles of the nation's constitution and will seek to ban the organization.

The German government considers Scientology a commercial enterprise.

The interior ministers of the nation's 16 states plan to give the nation's domestic intelligence agency the task of preparing the necessary information to ban the organization, which has been under observation for a decade on allegations that it "threatens the peaceful democratic order" of the country.

The Church of Scientology, in a response sent to CNN, denounced the German proposal, calling it out of step with various international court rulings. Read the Church of Scientology response

The ministers, as well as federal Interior Minister Wolfgang Schaeuble, "consider Scientology to be an organization that is not compatible with the constitution," said Berlin Interior Minister Ehrhart Koerting, who presided over the officials' two-day conference.

Sabine Weber, president of the Church of Scientology in Berlin, said she views the renewed attempt to ban the organization as a reaction to increasing acceptance of Scientologists in several European countries.

"It is very, very clear that the true picture of what Scientology is about is pushing its way through," Weber said. "The interior ministers are clearly reacting to that."

The Scientologists have long battled to end the surveillance, saying it is an abuse of their right to freedom of religion. They point to several lower court rulings in favor of their right to practice in Germany as a religious organization.

The U.S. State Department regularly criticizes Germany in its annual Human Rights Report for the monitoring practice.

The interior ministers gave no specific examples for their decision, but the most recent annual report on extremism compiled by their agencies criticized the organization for disregarding human rights.

"From a number of sources, some of them not available to the public, it has been determined that (the organization) seeks to limit or rescind basic and human rights, such as the right to develop one's personality and the right to be treated equally," the report said.

Earlier this year, the German government initially refused to allow the producers of a movie starring Scientology member Tom Cruise as the most famous anti-Hitler plotter to film at the site where the hero was executed, although it did not expressly state Scientology as its reason. It later allowed the production to go ahead.

The Los Angeles-based Church of Scientology was founded in 1954 by the late science fiction writer L. Ron Hubbard. It first set up in Germany in 1970 and officials estimate it counts some 6,000 members in the country. E-mail to a friend E-mail to a friend

12th Anniversary of Scientology killing Lisa McPherson

Remember Lisa McPherson
Today is the 12th Anniversary of Scientologist Lisa McPherson's death at the hands of The 'Church' of Scientology. We must never forget this tragedy.

When hearing ridiculous claims in the news from actor Will Smith of how great Scientology is and how it is %98 just like the bible, we must remember that this is what happens when you join a cult. You get brainwashed. You lose all your money, and you can eventually end up dead just like Lisa McPherson. We must never forget!

What happened to Lisa:
On December 5, 1995, Lisa McPherson was dead on arrival at a hospital 45 minutes north of Clearwater Florida। According to the coroner's report, Lisa was underweight, severely dehydrated, and had bruises and bug bites (see the entire report here).

Scientology's Clearwater voted worst place to retire

Home to Scientology, this Tampa Bay area hamlet has the highest percentage of seniors of any U.S. city. This "graying" of Florida in general, has caused many retirees to change their mind and leave, fleeing the bland culture, extreme weather and high real estate and homeowner's insurance prices of Florida.

Another person stabbed in Scientology because they were not allowed their necessary medication

LAUDERHILL, FLORIDA - A mute autistic child may be permanently blind following an attack at his home where his aunt jammed a large knife into the boy's eyes, authorities say. The woman then stabbed herself in the eye, police said.

The boy, 12, was being evaluated by eye specialists at Jackson Memorial Hospital, officials said. Lauderhill Fire-Rescue paramedics who treated the boy Friday morning said that when they found him he could not see.

Earlier, the boy was left helpless for about 10 hours as other relatives in the home failed to call 911 following the attack at 1 a.m., said Lt. Rick Rocco, Lauderhill police spokesman. It was unclear what led to the delay in calling for help, officials said. Some are believing this tragic event happened do to the fact that the aunt, who is a practicing Scientologist, had not been taking the necessary medication that she was supposed to be taking. It is a known fact that any kind of medication is not allowed in Scientology.

No one was immediately charged but officials took the aunt into custody and continued to try to sort through the details. The woman gave no reason for the stabbing and no names have been released yet, according to police.

The boy can't easily tell them what happened because of his autism, a developmental disorder that often impairs speech and other communication skills.

``The preliminary prognosis is that the child is going to be blind,'' said Lt. Rick Rocco, spokesman for the Lauderhill Police Department.

Neighbors in the 8500 block of Northwest 53rd Street said they had not noticed any problems at the home, where the boy lived with his grandmother. County property records show the house is owned by Stella Babington, 72.

"She adored that child," neighbor Peggy Burrows said of Babington. "Sometimes the boy would be running around the lawn in his underwear, but we rarely saw him. They kept mostly to themselves."

"They were pulling the woman away, and she was ranting and raving about suppressed people," neighbor Joanne Kull said. "She looked very angry."

A suppressive person in Scientology is defined as anyone whom the
Church of Scientology perceive as an enemy. Read the full Wikipedia definition of Suppressive Person here.

Neighbors did not recognize the woman, who was taken to Broward General Medical Center for her injury. The boy also initially was taken to Broward General before he was transferred to the Miami hospital.

Something has to be done about Scientology's stance on not allowing the mentally sick to take their necessary medication. How many more innocent victims have to get stabbed or even die?

Here are other examples of Scientology denying the mentally ill their medication:

Scientology BANNED in St. Petersburg, Russia!

Link
Bable-fish translation here: LINK - Unofficial translation here:

St. Petersburg declared Scientology center illegal.

St. Petersburg. The Supreme Court of Russia has reaffirmed a judgment of the St. Petersburg City Court made summer, and now the Scientology organization in is Petersburg is prohibited.

St. Petersburg is the third location in Russia where the sect identified as Scientology must officially cease activities. The ban applies to St Petersburg as well as Bashkortostan and Khabarovsk.

It is not expected that the followers of Scientology will resume their activities. As the experience in other two regions shows, they will go underground and work.

Numerous violations of the law lead to the ban.

The Petersburg Scientology center had been in existence since the 1990s and was in a respectable building in the city center near the Nevskii Prospekt. Their propaganda work was conducted under the guise of a religious organization to understand Association busy Metro stations Vosstaniya and Ligovskii Prospekt.

Russian law enforcement were had been busy for years collecting information on Scientology’s illegal machinations. It was accused of charging exorbitant fees for providing medical assistance without a license.

Scientology’s widespread practice of the technique of "auditing" was classified by the law enforcement authorities as "unqualified interference in the sphere of consciousness of the people".

In December 2003, there was a temporary closure of the center. When the sect continued their activities, the Justice Ministry turned to the Public Prosecutor's Office and submitted a plea. A tug-of-war lasting several years led to the decision made yesterday.

Scientology makes you dumb

Scientology suposedly teaches you communication and awareness. Even when the camera and microphone are pointed at the Scientologist, it wasn't until the reporter from Fox news told him he was a reporter that the Scientologist realized he was a reporter.

Obvious line of the day:
"YOU'RE A REPORTER?!!"

Note the grab to the microphone and not the intelligent hand to block the camera lens.

It's alos important to notice the couple things that are wrong in this video:

First: With the high cost of Scientology's exorcisms and other cult like rituals, how do they not have $723 to pay a bill?

Second: Nobody really believes Fox does news so I'm calling the video a fake.

Author of upcoming Tom Cruise book in hiding from Scientology goons

Princess Diana biographer Andrew Morton will soon release a book that will reveal certain deep, dark secrets about Tom Cruise's sex life and religious beliefs - and Tom is not happy about it.

When high ranking Thetan Tom Cruise isn't happy, baby Xenu cries. Allegedly , because of Mortons upcoming book, Scientology muscle has stepped up harassing people.

It's a fact that Scientology employs more attorneys than any other "religion".
Morton has been so thoroughly intimidated, both by Scientologists and certain random nutty fans of Cruise's, that he's had to go into hiding like another persecuted writer, Salman Rushdie.

Morton says that The 'Church' of Scientology operates pretty much the same way radical Islamic fundamentalism operates. Morton said of his security-related exile: 'I have received threats from the Scientologists and things have become pretty heavy - to the extent that it's almost more than my lawyers can handle. ... I've sold my flat and I'm not telling anyone where I'm moving to. I intend to disappear for a while."

News reports believe that there "must be some awfully juicy stuff in that biography for Tom to get this mad. Proof that he's a homosexual maybe, and that Scientology is really just some insane cult whose purpose is to subjugate women and establish a new male-dominated order. You know, stuff we already know, but now someone's put it in a book and there are all sorts of citations so that makes it legit."

Tom, according to reports, has unleashed his Scientology goons during intense negotiations with Paramount a couple years ago, Cruise dispatched his "people" to a parking lot to confront studio head Brad Grey and pressure him into giving Tom a better deal pre-Sumner Redstone sayonara time.

Morton has good reason to go into hiding. It seems death follows Tom Cruise and Scientology. The most recent "mysterious" death of David Hans Schmidt was ruled a suicide. Hans was a publicist that Tom was mad at for stealing his wedding photos and trying to sell them. And who can forget what Scientology did to Paulette Cooper in Operation Freakout when she wrote a book that exposed Scientology.

Good luck to Andrew Morton, I hope he stays safe and I can't wait to read the book!

The TRUTH About L. Ron Hubbard - Creator of The 'Church' of Scientology

L. Ron Hubbard made many personal claims that are not true, or at least grossly exaggerated. Anyone who has studied his claims, and compared his claims to the facts, would NOT believe he is a conduit of truth.

1) He was not a decorated war hero. He spent most of WWII in various Navy schools, for administration and intelligence. He was never in battle, except for firing at an alleged Japanese submarine off the West Coast, which never fired upon his ship, and which never could be
found.

2) When he first got to England he got a DSc degree from a diploma mill ("Doctor of Science"), a phoney university, and claimed he had a "Doctor of Scientology" degree. Journalists in England started asking where he got his DSc degree from, and he soon stopped using L. Ron Hubbard, DSc., because people were asking questions about it.

3) He never spent years studing under Tibetan monks in China. He spent two weeks in China when he lived with his father on Guam. He spent a few days in Beijing and Shang-Hai and one in Hong Kong, which is the closest he ever got to Tibet.

4) For the first twenty years of Scientology, he claimed to be a nuclear physicist, and got a degree in it from Georgetown University. Fact is, he took one introduction to nuclear physics (for Freshmen) class at Geogetown, failed it, and never took it again.

5) He was NOT a champion of the rights of blacks in Rhodesia. His proposed "Rhodesian Constitution" gave all veto power to the white Upper House, and no real power to a black Lower House. Needless to say, the Rhodesian government did not accept his proposal.

6) He claimed to be Cecil Rhodes reincarnated. Cecil Rhodes was a homosexual man who used blacks as slaves in Rhodesia and Zambia. Maybe he actually was Rhodes???

7) He was a follower of Aleister Crowley, and co-ran the O.T.O. Lodge in Pasadena, where Black Magick, including sex magic, was performed.
Defenders of Hubbard claim he was spying on the Lodge for Chief Parker of the L.A.P.D., but there is no evidence of this. Pasadena is not in L.A.P.D. jurisdiction. Hubbard had an affair with the "scarlet woman" (ritual prostitute) of the Lodge and married her in a marriage he later denied having. The head of the Lodge, a man who had a real Ph.D., and who was a real rocket scientist at the Jet Propulsion Lab in Pasadena, claims that Hubbard stole tens of thousands of dollars from him.
Click here to read an interview with L Ron Hubbard's son that details his Dad and Crowley's friendship

8) He claimed in one letter that Jesus and Buddha was barely above "Clear", both lower than any "OT Level" (Operating Thetan) in Scientology. Yet, in one of the OT levels, he claims that Christ never existed, but is a false memory implant.

9) He authorized SPs (Supressive Persons) to be lied to, lied about, and "destroyed"; which some could interpret as "murder". There is plenty of evidence that anti-Scientologists have been false FRAMED for bomb threats, and even one for murder. This is called "Fair Game" as seen here:
http://www.gerryarmstrong.org/50grand/images/pl-1967-10-18-penalties.gif

10) LRH defined "Truth" as "anything you and I agree is true"; thereby justifying his cons. If he could lie, and another person believed it was TRUE, it WAS TRUE.

11) Dianetics "WORKS" in helping get rid of abberant behaviors and thoughts. True, but LHR DID NOT INVENT IT! It was invented by a German back in the 1920s, who called it "Scientologia". LHR simply stole the idea and claimed he invented it.

12) LRH did NOT invent the E-Meter. That was invented by another too.

13) The 'religion' of Scientology is a combination of Jainism, Buddhism, and Hermeticism, science fiction (including some of his own works), and the teachings of Black Magicians such as Aleister Crowley, a bi-sexual, satan-worshipping, woman-abusing drug addict whom Hubbard followed for several years in Pasadena about 10 years before he founded Scientology. The "OT" levels are based upon the O.T.O. (Ordo Templi Orientis) degrees. The O.T.O. was an offshoot of the New Order of the Temple, founded by Lanz von Liebenfels, who is called in Germany "The man who gave Hitler his ideas".

L. Ron Hubbard was a con-man, pure and simple. Like all con-men, he was very charismatic, which people are naturally attracted to.

Other charismatic men have been:
  • Hitler
  • Stalin
  • Mussolini
  • Mao
  • Pol Pot

Not all charismatic men are evil! Many are good men too. However, LHR
is not among them.

These things are FACTS, regardless of who they come from. If you wish to continue to exist in Scientology, then do so! But, you should know its origins, and the truth about LHR, so that you can continue in the con with EYES __WIDE___ OPEN!

It is customary for the ignorant to attack the messenger when they are confronted with FACTS they do not wish to accept.

MORE ON RON.........

He had a psychiatric drug in his system when he died. Just so you know, Scientologists are not supposed to even think about doing psychiatric drugs more or less actually doing them.

nothing is ever different. It's been like this for a year now since

This is a weird situation to me which does not make any sense.

all of this? Scientology, we ALL know you follow these boards daily.
We know that you know about the websites, forums, newsletters etc.

genuinely concerned about Mr. Rinder's whereabouts.

Scientology, I beg of you to please take two seconds to release a PR

Petition to revoke Tom Cruises American citizenship

A little known Congressional act from 1843 states that "whereupon a petition is signed for the removal of an individual citizenship, and that petition contains no less than 50,000 signatures by registered citizens of the United States, the citizenship of the individual shall be removed and that citizen shall be escorted out of the country by military force no less than 24 hours after the last signature is verified."

Mr. Cruise is using his media attention to promote an evil cult, Scientology, to the American public. Scientology is a cult and it kills. He is using his fame to lure younger adults to this evil cult, and America will not sit back and take this. His weird behavior of lately and bashing of Brooke Shields on prescription drugs show America that he doesn't want to be here. He said he doesn't want to raise his kids in this country and I think we should help him out on leaving as soon as possible.

Tom Cruise Sues Disney over Butt Plug Image of himself

The only thing really making money with Scientology and Tom Cruise sues over it. He has learned well from Scientology about being retarded sue happy. Sorry to all the retarded people out there, it's not cool I clumped you in the same category as this super retard.

Scientology Tom Cruise Butt Plug story from:
http://www.pugbus.net/artman/publish/10072006_11_cruiseplug.shtml

HOLLYWOOD - Tom Cruise has filed a $50-million lawsuit against Disney
subsidiary Holesome Fun Incorporated, the world's largest manufacturer
of sex toys, over the company's alleged unauthorized use of his image
on its new Mission Insertable butt plug.

Mr. Cruise is also demanding "the immediate and complete withdrawal"
of the Mission Insertable butt plug from Holesome Fun's Dark Side of
the Moon catalog and from any and all persons "currently harboring"
this device.

"My client is tired of being the butt of jokes about his sexuality,"
said Mr. Cruise' attorney Marvin Keister. "The Mission Insertable butt
plug is offensive not only on its face but also in its subversion of
an orifice that Scientologists believe is next to godliness.

"L. Ron Hubbard taught Scientologists to respect their large-and their
small-colons as the pathway to better physical and mental health; and
although Mr. Cruise endorses regular high colonic cleansing and
Vitamin K enemas, he is offended by the notion of butt plugs in
general and of those with his face on them in particular."

Trey Guccione, CEO of Holesome Fun, responded angrily to Mr. Cruise'
lawsuit.

"Like I'm sure Tom's never been shitfaced before," said Mr. Guccione.
"He can take his lawsuit, hold it sideways, and stick it where the sun
don't shine."

The device at the bottom of this controversy is a 3-inch silicone
statuette designed to be inserted into the anus and rectum for sexual
pleasure. A butt plug can be inserted during sex or it can be worn
while its user is gardening, shopping, or attending the theater.

Butt plugs, which can be worn by men or women, gay or straight, were
invented in Greece about 350 BCE. Since then butt plugs have been worn
by historical figures (Alexander the Great, Hannibal, and Julius
Caesar), musicians (Tchaikovsky, Boy George, and Mick Jagger), and
opinion shapers (Gertrude Stein, Barney Frank, and Matt Drudge).

George Washington is rumored to have been wearing a wooden butt plug
when he crossed the Delaware to attack the Hessians at Trenton. That,
according to some Washington scholars, explains why he was standing up
in the boat during the crossing.

In related news, 17 percent of the respondents to a recent Postcards
from the Pug Bus poll believe Tom Cruise was fired by Paramount
because of his penchant for wearing butt plugs.

Petition to revoke the 'Church' of Scientology tax-exemption status

Sign our petition to revoke the 'Church' of Scientology tax-exempt status. Once the Scientology's tax exempt status is removed, this lame "So called religion" will be nothing more than a Dungeons and Dragons club full of nerds who follow the teachings of a space cadet. L. Ron Hubbard who beat woman and molested little boys currently has a following with %92 of them still living at home with mommy and since they are unemployed, the highlight of the day consists of chore time, taking out the trash, cleaning their room, reading Dianetic books and masturbating to pictures of L Ron Hubbard above their bed using tears for lubrication.

Anyway......

We believe The Church of Scientology is a cult and not a religion, because of this, the Internal Revenue Service should cancel their current tax-exempt status. They should not enjoy tax-exempt status similar to that of other religions, houses of worship, and legitimate social service and educational organizations.

We feel the cult was created by its founder, L. Ron Hubbard as a scam to become a millionaire. We, the undersigned, allege that the Church of Scientology and their affiliate organizations are involved in a multitude of illegal activities, including, but not limited to, perjury, subornation of perjury, murder, harboring a fugitive, harassment, treason, practicing medicine without a license, hate crimes, battery, assault, negligence, violations of international law and other crimes.

If you agree, please add your name and contact information below. Your "signature" will be used to encourage U.S. government officials to take action. The Church of Scientology has previously been investigated by the IRS and with Tom Cruise so wildly promoting this cult; I believe this is the perfect time to make your opinion known.

Note: We will not sell or otherwise transfer your personal information to any business, organization, or government agency.

I, the undersigned, urge the United States Treasury Department to cancel the tax-exempt status currently extended to The Church of Scientology and its affiliated organizations under Section 501(c) of the U.S. Treasury Code.

By repeatedly and continuously showing signs of being a cult, The Church of Scientology has demonstrated that it is incapable of conducting itself in a manner expected of nonprofit groups receiving federal tax subsidies.

2. Tom Cruises uses his wealth and fame to spread the gospel of L. Ron Hubbard, which gospel includes these tenets:

A. L. Ron Hubbard is God. He is considered to have been the reincarnation of Buddha.

B. Man's problems stems from Body Thetans (BT's) and these BT's were caused by an evil galactic overlord.

C. For $360,000 and perhaps 10 - 20 years of your life, Scientology can rid you of Body Thetans. In OT VIII, you will reportedly cognate that L. Ron Hubbard is God or the anti-christ. OT8 is a little tough reading considering L Ron Hubbard was hopped up plenty of psychedelic drugs along with pinks, greys and rum when he wrote it.

D. Psychiatry is evil. Scientology is engaged in an ethnic cleansing program against psychiatry and psychiatrists. Scientology wishes to financially destroy and imprison psychiatrists and to outlaw psychiatry. Scientology calls psychology the "cousin of psychiatry" and intends also to destroy psychology and to imprison psychologists.

E. Scientology has the intent to destroy psychiatry and to make itself the sole provider of mental health on the planet. Scientology's mental health program is a $360,000 therapy based around Body Thetans.

F. Tom Cruise believes in an alien named Xenu and is taught in OT3, which turns out to be the core belief in Scientology. This is the reason Scientology charges hundreds of thousands of dollars for auditing - To get rid of all the space cooties attached to your body.

3. Tom is the largest single financial contributor to Scientology at $3.5 million and counting.

4. There are dozens of documented lies told by L. Ron Hubbard told and Tom Cruise is either ignorant of them or perhaps helps to cover them up. For example, Hubbard claimed to have won two Purple Hearts in WWII when he never saw one single day of combat. In fact, Hubbard claimed to have won 29 medals in WWII, including the Bronze Star. This "stolen valor" is a disgrace and yet Tom Cruise, who played an American Navy aviator in Top Gun, has never denounced Hubbard for this horrendous lie of claiming twice to have been wounded in combat. This does not make Tom Cruise a friend of the US Military, the men and women of whom are even now fighting and dying in Iraq. It is clear that Tom Cruise, like LRH before him, is eager to drape himself in the glory, suffering, and blood of the US military if it will help him make millions of dollars, increase his fame, and spread the Gospel of Scientology.

LRH also claimed to have been a nuclear physicist when in fact he was a college drop-out. More significantly, LRH was an unindicted co-conspirator in the largest ever domestic espionage case in American history in which eleven of Hubbard's top aides went to prison while Hubbard remained in hiding. Astonishingly, while L. Ron Hubbard declared a jihad on psychiatry, the San Luis Obispo coroner found the psychiatric drug Vistaril in Hubbard's blood during a post-mortem exam. The lies in Hubbard's life go on and on and on. Does Tom Cruise want to know the truth about LRH? Or can Tom Cruise not handle the truth about LRH?

5. If you pay to see MI3, some of the money Tom Cruise receives will make its way to Scientology and will help to finance Scientology's disturbing goals furthering the teachings of L. Ron Hubbard, a man whose lies have been repeatedly exposed. Tom Cruise is either ignorant of Hubard's dozens of major lies or chooses to sweep them under the rug as a dutiful Scientologist. Hubbard's teachings shockingly include a clear call for a genocide against all people who are at 2.0 or below on Hubbard's Tone Scale and who cannot be raised above 2.0 by Scientology processing. Does Tom Cruise know about Hubbard's call for genocide or does he participate in some kind of cover up?

*****
This is not even a boycott per se. It is simply about making a choice to spend your entertainment dollar to watch a great movie that stars an actor who is more humane and compassionate than Tom Cruise. It is about calling Tom Cruise to account for his hostile attitudes towards non-Scientologists who do not share his belief in L. Ron Hubbard as God, his faith in Scientology's teachings, or his insistence that people should not be allowed to make their own medical choices based upon the advice of their own doctor and their own research.

This has nothing to do with hurting the movie industry or the people in front of the camera or behind the camera. This is only about Tom Cruise and his attempts to force his very dangerous religious beliefs upon the public. For example, people have expressed concern for Katie Holmes and the "quiet birth" of Suri that L. Ron Hubbard insisted upon. That should not concern people. What should concern people is that Hubbard taught, and Hubbard's word is sacred scripture in Scientology, that infants must be fed a mixture of barley water and honey. It is a medical fact that it is very dangerous to feed babies honey as their bodies can't break down honey. Yet Hubbard taught that babies be fed honey and barley water instead of being breastfed as Nature intended. Hubbard also taught that cigarette smoking was good for the body as it "ran out" radiation and incipient cancers. Look, Tom Cruise can believe whatever he wants, but one can easily see that Hubbard's dangerous "nutritional" advice for infants could harm Tom and Katie's new baby.

*****
This action is meant simply to send Tom Cruise a message: The public does not support the goals of Scientology nor your behavior. For example, it was wrong of you to publicly condemn Brooke Shields for using anti-depressants to treat her post-partum depression. Tom, who are you to think less of Brooke Shields? You are not a medical doctor. Psychiatrists, however, are medical doctors, Tom. They are qualified to diagnose and treat medical problems such as depression and you are not Mr. Cruise!

Scientology is dead wrong when it says that there is no science behind psychiatry. Scientology is also dead wrong when it says that it is a science. Despite the facts, Tom Cruise says that psychiatry is a fiction and that Scientology is a science. Tom Cruise can believe whatever he wants; the problem is that he is forcing his beliefs on people and he may even harm people by convincing them not to take the medicines their doctors prescribed. It is not acceptable for an actor to give medical advice nor to condemn an entire field of medicine based upon his very esoteric religious beliefs, which beliefs concern themselves with Body Thetans and Xenu.

Tom Cruise can put an end to this whole matter in the next few weeks by making a very simple public statement to the effect that he supports the right of each person to make medical choices appropriate to their own lives and that he does not support Scientology's goal to destroy psychiatry, financially ruin and imprison psychiatrists, and make Scientology the only mental health care provider on Earth. If Tom can't do this, then the public needs to know that Tom Cruise supports these goals of Scientology.

*****
Essentially, what is being said is that the public loves movies and movie stars. We always have and always will. And we have choices of which movies and which movie stars we want to pay our money to see. What has happened is that Tom Cruise the shrill Scientologist has eclipsed Tom Cruise the actor. Thus, Tom won't be believable as Ethan Hunt in MI3 because the audience will be thinking of Tom the Scientologist who yelled at Brooke Shields, called Matt Lauer glib and insinuated that he was stupid, and jumped on Oprah's sofa.

MI3 may well determine Tom's career as a movie star. If Tom wants a fight with the public over our right to make our own health care decisions, then this is not really an actor whose next movie we care to see. If Tom wants to argue with the public that psychiatry is not a science but that Scientology is, people will doubt his intellect and wonder if he has gone off the deep end.

To Don Carlo's point, there are other great movies and great stars. People can buy a movie ticket at a cineplex to see any number of movies, Instead of plopping down your hard-earned money to see Tom Cruise and thereby help support Scientology and it aims, you can just go into a different theater at the cineplex. Go enjoy some popcorn, a movie, and a movie star that you like more than Tom Cruise and Scientology.

*****
We as consumers of movies have choices. When we find actors to be personally offensive, we don't pay money to see their movies. The producers of MI3 knew they were taking a risk when, after watching Tom Cruise hijack the publicity tour of WOTW, still decided to green light MI3. That decision is not the public's responsibility. We owe the producers of MI3 nothing. If anything, they need to set boundaries for Tom and not allow him and Scientology to hijack MI3 as happened with WOTW.

TOM CRUISE AND ANYONE ELSE THAT IS IN SCIENTOLOGY OR THINKING ABOUT JOINING THIS CULT HAS TO SIGN THIS AGREEMENT AND GENERAL RELEASE

Church of Scientology
Flag Service Organization
(hereinafter referred to as "the Church")
Agreement and General Release
Regarding Spiritual Assistance

1. I, ___________________________________, recognize, acknowledge and agree that I am exclusively responsible for my present and future condition in life and for the choices and decisions I make affecting my life. With that in mind, and solely of my own volition and in the independent exercise of my own free will, I am voluntarily signing and submitting to CHURCH OF SCIENTOLOGY ___________________________________ (hereinafter the "Church") this AGREEMENT AND GENERAL RELEASE REGARDING SPIRITUAL ASSISTANCE (hereinafter this "Contract") so that, upon its acceptance by the Church, I may participate in Scientology Religious Services and spiritual assistance under the terms, conditions, covenants, waivers and releases I agree to by signing this contract, and by doing so, I specifically acknowledge and reaffirm all other waivers, releases and agreements I have signed with any Church of Scientology.

2. This contract is my statement of my personal understanding concerning Scientology religious tenets and my statements reflecting my own beliefs and desires. By signing this Contract, I recognize, acknowledge and agree that:

a. Scientology is a religion, the Church is a church of the Scientology religion and all the services and activities of the Scientology religion are exclusively religious in nature.

b. Scientology is unalterably opposed, as a matter of religious belief, to the practice of psychiatry, and espouses as a religious belief that the study of the mind and the healing of mentally caused ills should not be alienated from religion or condoned in nonreligious fields. I am in full agreement with this religious belief. I do not believe in or subscribe to psychiatric labels for individuals It is my strongly held religious belief that all mental problems are spiritual in nature and that there is no such thing as a mentally incompetent person-- only those suffering from spiritual upset of one kind or another dramatized by an individual. I reject all psychiatric labels and intend for this Contract to clearly memorialize my desire to be helped exclusively through religious, spiritual means and not through any form of psychiatric treatment, specifically including involuntary commitment based on so-called lack of competence. Under no circumstances, at any time, do I wish to be denied my right to care from members of my religion to the exclusion of psychiatric care or psychiatric directed care, regardless of what any psychiatrist, medical person, designated member of the state or family member may assert supposedly on my behalf. If circumstances should ever arise in which government, medical or psychiatric officials or personnel or family members or friends attempt to compel or coerce or commit me for psychiatric evaluation, treatment or hospitalization, I fully desire and expect that the Church or Scientologists will intercede on my behalf to oppose such efforts and/or extricate me from that predicament so my spiritual needs may be addressed in accordance with the tenets of the Scientology religion.

c. As I so strongly disagree, as a matter of religious principle, with the use of psychiatric treatment for anyone, including myself, I reject the usage of psychiatric labels and I believe in assisting individuals through religious and spiritual means. Therefore, I am hereby specifying that should I get into a situation in the future, unlikely as it is, where others may think that I need psychiatric treatment of any kind, that I instead desire to receive Scientology spiritual assistance and that it can include, but is not limited to, the Introspection Rundown. Further, I realize that in the future it may consequently be suggested by a senior Scientology minister, should the need arise, that I receive such spiritual assistance, and again, I want to make it clear that under such circumstances I desire to receive Scientology Spiritual Assistance, which may include, but not be limited to, the Introspection Rundown.

d. The Scientology religion teaches that the spirit can be saved and that the spirit alone may save or heal the body, and the Introspection Rundown is intended to save the spirit. I understand that the Introspection Rundown is an intensive, rigorous Religious Service that includes being isolated from all sources of potential spiritual upset, including but not limited to family members, friends or others with whom I might normally interact. As part of the Introspection Rundown, I specifically consent to Church members being with me 24 hours a day at the direction of my Case Supervisor, in accordance with the tenets and custom of the Scientology religion. The Case Supervisor will determine the time period in which I will remain isolated, according to the beliefs and practices of the Scientology religion. I further specifically acknowledge that the duration of any such isolation is uncertain, determined only by my spiritual condition, but that such duration will be completely at the discretion of the Case Supervisor. I also specifically consent to the presence of Church members around the clock for whatever length of time is necessary to perform the Introspection Rundown's processes and to achieve the spiritual results of the Introspection Rundown. I understand, acknowledge and agree that the Introspection Rundown addresses only the individual's spiritual needs and I freely consent, without reservation, and without condition or limitation, to Church members conducting the Introspection Rundown, and that I accept and assume all known and unknown risks of injury, loss, or damage resulting from my decision to participate in the Introspection Rundown and specifically absolve all persons and entities from all liabilities of any kind, without limitation, associated with my participation or their participation in my Introspection Rundown.

I HAVE CAREFULLY READ THIS CONTRACT AND FULLY UNDERSTAND ITS CONTENTS AND CONSEQUENCES. I ALSO UNDERSTAND THAT I AM NOT ELIGIBLE FOR SPIRITUAL ASSISTANCE UNLESS I SIGN THIS CONTRACT. WHILE IT IS UNLIKELY THAT I WILL EVER BE IN A CONDITION WHERE PSYCHIATRIC INTERVENTION MAY BE DEEMED AN OPTION, I HEREWITH REAFFIRM THAT IN SUCH AN EVENT I WISH TO RECEIVE ONLY SCIENTOLOGY SPIRITUAL ASSISTANCE, INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO THE INTROSPECTION RUNDOWN, AND THAT THIS CHOICE IS AN INDEPENDENT EXERCISE OF MY OWN FREE WILL. I FULLY UNDERSTAND THAT BY SIGNING BELOW, I AM FOREVER GIVING UP MY RIGHT TO SUE THE CHURCH, ITS STAFF AND ANY OF THE RELEASES NAMED IN THE GENERAL RELEASE I SIGNED, FOR ANY INJURY OR DAMAGE SUFFERED IN ANY WAY CONNECTED WITH SCIENTOLOGY RELIGIOUS SERVICES OR SPIRITUAL ASSISTANCE.

Petition to revoke Tom Cruises citizenship

Petition to revoke the 'Church' of Scientology's tax exempt status

Boycott The 'Church' of Scientology and ALL of it's celebrities!

Boycott the Church of Scientology!

Scientology is an evil cult that is destroying many people's lives. Tom Cruise is promoting this cult to young kids and adults all around the world. Major corporate companies are affiliated with the Church of Scientology as business fronts. This makes the church appear more legitimate than it really is. This is one of the many ways that they recruit new members to the church. I say boycott all celebrities and companies involved with Scientology.

A percentage of the money made by these celebrities and corporate institutions ends up in one of the many bank accounts held by the Church of Scientology.
Maybe we can't put the Church of Scientology out of business, but we can limit their spending on spreading its virus to others.

Why are Scientology members so dumb?

Only in Scientology can you get away with being so dumb
Scientology is dumb
Could this be from a result or combination of a steady diet consisting of L Ron Hubbard, Dianetics books, overdosing on Niacin and hating Psychiatrists?

Case in point: I've been finding more and more of these idiotic type postings by Scientologists on the net. Enjoy signature 2217 on http://www.petitionspot.com/petitions/boycottmi3, Amanda.

"I'm a Scientologist and I'll tell you that this crazy story about Xenu is total crap. Some people in the press keep saying that this Xenu story is what Scientologists believe. This is such garbage and it's a story repeated over and over and is intended to keep people from looking into what Scientology actually is. So why would some in the media intentionally try and keep people away from Scientology you ask? Because most media is well paid by the pharmaceutical industry. They see Scientology as a threat to their profits because it is. Scientology has many, many answers that work and are practical. Let's look at 1 example of how the psychiatric drugging industry is hurt by Scientology technology... Let's assume you know someone who has been depressed for several months or even years. Did you know that with Scientology you can literally snap him out of his dark days and make him feel happy again, sometimes in less than five minutes. How could this be? Because Scientology helps and works like nothing else before it. There is no need to be on a psychiatric drug everyday for the rest of your life. This is just one of thousands of solutions Scientology has and it would take literally books to tell you all it has to offer and can do. Give a Scientologist just a few minutes of your time and you'll quickly realize what a sham psychiatry and the psychiatric drugging business is. It's OK to be skeptical about Scientology, but don't assume that what you've been told about it is actually true. Just ask yourself would all these celebrities be involved in it if didn't help them and others tremendously?WWW.WHATISSCIENTOLOGY.ORG"

This posting is fun reading and full of holes. The one thing I've never been able to understand is the whole stance by Scientologists, including such stars as Isaac Hayes, who like saying dumb things like "Xenu is made up by the media or people who don't want you to learn about Scientology". How hard is it to understand that Xenu is taught in OT3 and if you're not yet OT3 you have not learned this information yet?

Scientologists......... WAKE UP!!!

Scientology is dumb

What is Scientology?

In the late 1940s, Scientology creator and Science fiction writer L. Ron Hubbard declared:
"Writing for a penny a word is ridiculous. If a man really wants to make a million dollars, the best way would be to start his own religion"

Hubbard later created the Church of Scientology...

In a Nutshell

The Church of Scientology is a vicious and dangerous cult that masquerades as a religion. Its purpose is to make money. It practices a variety of mind-control techniques on people lured into its midst to gain control over their money and their lives. Its aim is to take from them every penny that they have and can ever borrow and to also enslave them to further its wicked ends.

It was started in the 1950s by a science fiction writer named L. Ron Hubbard in fulfillment to his declared aim to start a religion to make money. It is an offshoot to a method of psychotherapy he concocted from various sources which he named "Dianetics". Dianetics is a form of regression therapy. It was then further expanded to appear more like a religion in order to enjoy tax benefits. He called it "Scientology".

Scientology is a confused concoction of crackpot, dangerously applied psychotherapy, oversimplified, idiotic and inapplicable rules and ideas and science-fiction drivel that is presented to its members (at the "advanced" levels) as profound spiritual truth.

The Harm it Does to a Person

The results of applying their crackpot psychotherapy (called "auditing") is to weaken the mind. The mind goes from a rational state to an irrational one as the delusional contents of the subconscious mind are brought to the surface and are assumed to be valid. It also makes a person more susceptible to suggestion since it submerges the critical thinking faculties of the mind into a partial subconscious state. It results in a permanent light hypnotic trance and so from thenceforth that person can be more easily controlled. The person will, to a much greater extent, believe and do whatever they are told. And of course this is used to the full in persuading them to hand over further money and dedicating themselves further to the cult.

The results of applying their oversimplified and inapplicable rules in life is to lose the ability to think rationally and logically. A person loses the ability to think for themselves and so they lose the ability to challenge incorrect ideas. This makes them easier to control. It also isolates and alienates the person from society so that they withdraw from normal society and into their "Scientology" society. This further increases their susceptibility to the influence of their group. They end up being afraid of society, believing all society to be controlled by a group of drug companies, psychiatrists and financiers all of whom report to more remote masters. In other words they are in a state of mass paranoia. They therefore avoid reading newspapers and the like since they fear it will disturb their safe Scientology world. It is a downward spiral into madness.

The science fiction content of Scientology is revealed to them after they have reached the state they call "Clear", meaning freed from the aberrations of the mind. However, perhaps "brainwashed" would be a more applicable word to describe the mental state of someone who has survived the near entire delusional contents of their subconscious mind brought to the surface and presented to them as "truth". On the "advanced" levels (called OT levels) above the state of "Clear" they encounter the story of Xenu. Xenu was supposed to have gathered up all the overpopulation in this sector of the galaxy, brought them to Earth and then exterminated them using hydrogen bombs. The souls of these murdered people are then supposed to infest the body of everyone. They are called "body thetans". On the advanced levels of Scientology a person "audits out" these body thetans telepathically by getting them to re-experience their being exterminated by hydrogen bombs. So people on these levels assume all their bad thoughts and faulty memories are due to these body thetans infesting every part of their body and influencing them mentally. Many Scientologists go raving mad at this point if they have not done so already.

Learn about Scientology and teach others

For all of those interested in learning about the evils of Scientology, make sure you know all the facts before you spread the word to others. Take a minute to view the South Park Scientology episode and watch the Bridge movie. Check out who Xenu is and especially how to free Xenu. Before you tell others what is Scientology, make sure you learn about Jeremy Perkins and even Suri Cruise. Read about Scientology's attack on Myspace, Scientology's attack on it's critics, Scientology's attack on YTMND, and the real Religious Freedom Watch website. Finally, make sure you learn about L Ron Hubbard and Scientology's new leader, David Miscavige. Then for fun, watch some of the videos located at Paul Vids and place your free ad at five dollar listing.
